How is it possible
Taking a look back in history you see the social significance of the church and those who are Christians. We created and sustained two of the greatest institutions in the west Schools and Hospitals.
Where in schools people cry out we need separation the church was pushed out of the very thing they helped come to life. And universities that seem almost a hatred to the church that stood to help teach doctors and preachers. How did we the front lines of creating these places become pushed out and beaten down?
Hospitals also have the same story but our health care is crazy. I was talking to Randy and he went to the "Good Samaritan Hospital" But paid out the wazoo to be cared for.
I wonder if this is how God feels when people turn their back on him. Where he has formed every human in his/her mother's womb and cares for humans.
I wonder if the church has no more social significance because we let this happen and don't do anything significant anymore. I think it is time to dream again and work hard to make it happen.
