Turkey
I don't like turkey. I don't like it because it doesn't taste as good as: Steak, Lamb, Chicken, Pork, Ham, ect... Why if your family gets together every so often would you choose a lesser meat? You might say "FOR TRADITIONS SAKE!!" Forget tradition it is lame and old
With that being said
I cooked my very first turkey Sunday. Our church has a Thanksgiving lunch and the ministers provide the turkey. I've known people (women) who get freaked out about it and I am not sure why. It was sooooo easy. Salt it... butter it.... bag it.... 3 hours later ta da.
I did mess up and pulled the thermometer out cause I wasn't sure what it was. But everyone was giving me compliments like, "wow it has such a nice tan" "man the meat is falling off the bone, perfect."
I got pictures but it doesn't do it justice because pulling it out of the oven I was even surprised what it looked like.
